Additional Convention Events

Join us for a Garden Party Friday night as we celebrate Singapore as a Garden City. Start planning what type of hat and outfit you will wear! We will have a district and state outfit contest benefitting LCIF. We will also have a silent auction… we will need your help in bringing items for this event. Districts will be able to get into this area to start preparing their area for the party at 3 pm in the lower level ballroom. There are no restrictions on bringing in food/drink for this event if kept in this area. Please bring your own ice.

The state convention will include Leo events and service projects. The events will be planned by our Leo clubs for their members. For more information check back on the state convention website for these events for 13-18 year olds.

We will be collecting items for Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Columbia. Books for Babies: When a child arrives in NICU, his/her parents receive a children’s book. Every month, the parents receive another new book. Baby’s footprints are on the inside cover of each book, giving parents a way to see baby’s growth. Other items needed stuffed animals, games, birthday balloons, party hats, birthday plates/napkins, treats and toys. The district who brings the most items will be our VIPs for the weekend. Details of contest will be on website in 2020.

Contact Sandy McCann or John Clark for more details and if you want to be on the planning committee.
