2021 Great Plains Lions Leadership Institute

GPLLI is an intensive, professional and valuable leadership skills program for Lions who have not attended a GPLLI within the last five years. You will learn skills for club, job, community and church, as well as personal development.

This is a three-day training curriculum that will teach you every aspect of leadership you can imagine; starting from the minute you arrive.

The subjects are useful in every facet of leadership, not only as a Lion but also in your business and personal life. The institute will include dynamic presenters from across North America.

The Institute will be held July 23-25 at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO. Registration is $210, which includes your dorm room, food, and all class materials.

2021 Midwest Advanced Lions Leadership Institute
Midwest Advanced Lions Leadership Institute will be held July 23-25 at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO. Registration is $190, which includes your dorm room, food, and all class materials.
The goal is to provide Lion leaders with an opportunity to enhance skills for leadership responsibilities at the zone and district levels. Classes include Leadership Fundamentals, Developing Extraordinary Teams, Promoting Lions Image, Project Management, Conflict Resolution, Delegation, Service Journey Resources, Presentation Preparation, LCIF, and Developing Lions Leaders of Tomorrow.
Applicants must have completed a successful term as club president, but not yet attained the first vice district governor level. Attendance at all classroom sessions and scheduled meals is mandatory. Because of the anticipated number of applications, acceptance into the institute is not guaranteed,  SO APPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. The application requires the signature of your district governor and district GLT coordinator. Contact your District Governor Team for assistance.
This is being held jointly with GPLLI, so students can car pool. Meals and dorm rooms will be shared with students from both institutes. Lions Clubs International holds one ALLI in the USA/Canada per year with limited capacity: the students pay their own way to/from the venue as well as their tuition cost. This Midwest event will certainly be more reasonable for travel costs than flying to Canada, Dallas, or one of the coasts.
Don’t miss these great opportunities!
Both institutes are being sponsored by Multiple Districts 3 (Oklahoma), 9 (Iowa), 17 (Kansas), 26 (Missouri) and 38 (Nebraska) and this why you are getting this e-mail.

Dynamic presenters from across the Great Plains will provide emerging Lion leaders with modules on communication skills, team building, delegation, time management, conflict management, project management, diversity, motivation, goal setting/action planning/personal mission statement and leading effective meetings.
